He writes in a funny way, straight from his thoughts, like a true Chef. So you need to figure out his recipes a bit. In a haste, I did the recipe and forgot to add yeast. the bread could rise beautifully still. I love breads that are made natural..Ricardo aka Piroshok is a good friend. His recipes always works.Gina Choonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06838812011546453986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-91093122339204771872008-03-17T22:54:00.000+08:002008-03-17T22:54:00.000+08:00yuri, I've finetuned the orange bread already. rea...yuri, I've finetuned the orange bread already. ready for your testing...lol...KWFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03990908601723909315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-29640054051181840202008-03-17T17:16:00.000+08:002008-03-17T17:16:00.000+08:00Very interesting gina. Just saw Nigella's programme, she "recycled" stale croissant into Caramel Croissant Pudding. Looks yummy...Yurihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968690514807506641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-5454842453222450842008-03-17T17:04:00.000+08:002008-03-17T17:04:00.000+08:00adeline, the best loaves of bread i like are those...adeline, the best loaves of bread i like are those unleavened ones. very natural and 'hard' and last for a day the most. There was an old recipe at KC once..but later was deleted coz the KC member didn't get approval from her friend to post it. It was very interesting. Using stale bread to make kueh. And its called Loti Kueh.Gina Choonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06838812011546453986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-32010233048452904792008-03-17T09:14:00.000+08:002008-03-17T09:14:00.000+08:00hey wf, don't worry about the orange bread as I wi...hey wf, don't worry about the orange bread as I will be using the breadmaker to assist with kneading and proofing. Stay tuned for results, a bit shy to join Daily Bread thread on KC. Thanks for the encouragement. As Gina pointed out, there's so much to learn and with a breadmaker, one really would miss out on important lessons. For now, I would just make full use of the breadmaker as I suspect my bro-in-law may want it back soon!

Btw, Gina, please take care and Thank God for taking care of you.Yurihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968690514807506641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-55021647933432013762008-03-17T07:39:00.000+08:002008-03-17T07:39:00.000+08:00Adeline, bread baking using a bread maker will not...Adeline, bread baking using a bread maker will not teach you much in actual breadmaking. That's what i found out years ago. I started breadmaking using a breadmaker. then went to manual mixing, kneading. and later i got a KA mixer to do the heavy duty kneading for me. in the process I found out why bread and dough behave so differently with a mixer, by hand or by a bread maker. So this actually helps me more when i need to show others how to do a good loaf of bread. the butter during dough kneading is an old trick. by the way. :)Gina Choonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06838812011546453986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251977149688407894.post-1869536094300382102008-03-17T07:30:00.000+08:002008-03-17T07:30:00.000+08:00Hi Yuri, Congrats on your success in your bread ma...Hi Yuri, Congrats on your success in your bread making :D Both your cream cheese loaf and these yoghurt breads looks great!
